Dear colleague,

I wanted to update you on our mutual patient.

They were seen today for their follow up eye examination.  Their diabetic retinopathy appears stable from their previous visit and we are continuing their intravitreal avastin injections for their diabetic retinopathy.  I reiterated the importance of tight glucose control in preventing the worsening of their diabetic eye disease.
